Free Arts offers several opportunities for corporations looking to provide employee engagement and team building through volunteering. This program/experience is tailored to a companies needs and improve teamwork, communication and commitment among employees.
Volunteering may or may not include direct interaction with children and take place at your office or at one of Free Arts many program sites throughout Los Angeles.
Options include:
Work as volunteer mentors for a half-day with children at Edmund D. Edelman Children’s Court, while children wait for their cases to be heard. Half day volunteering for groups takes place between the hours of 9:00am to 12:00pm and includes training. A nominal donation is required.
Work as volunteer mentors at one of our partnered sites of the Free Arts mentorship program. Times may vary, including training. A nominal donation is required to Free Arts.
Volunteer at the Office: Help the Free Arts team organize and prepare art supplies, keep the database up-to-date, compile mailings, or implement events and other projects. This opportunity is ideal for volunteers who want to gain experience in a nonprofit environment and who enjoy helping nonprofits. Internship credit is available upon approval of your school.
Volunteer at events including community art festivals and fundraising events.
